Community Blood Drive

Don’t let Dracula get your blood first.  Celebrate Halloween with the gift that keeps on giving; participate in the Blood Drive on October 28, 2021.  Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Del Mar for benefit of the San Diego Blood Bank, all blood types are needed urgently. Hours are 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.  The drive will be held at the Del Mar Civic Center parking lot at 1050 Camino Del Mar in Del Mar, CA. Appointments are strongly encouraged and can be made at sandiegobloodbank.org/donate.  Safety measures are in place, so bring your photo ID and arrive hydrated. Accidents and medical emergencies don’t take holidays.  San Diego Blood Bank must collect more than 350 units of blood each day to meet the needs of local patients who are battling life-threatening blood disorders and cancers, suffering from trauma like burns or accidents, and even complications from childbirth. One pint of blood can save up to three lives. You are somebody’s type, please donate.
