Del Mar Plaza Reopening Update – December 2020

Update, December 7th: San Diego County was placed into Tier 1, also known as the purple tier, of the State’s tier system due to increase in COVID cases. On Thursday, December 3rd, 2020,  Governor Newsom released an update stating that if any region reaches 85% capacity of their ICU beds, additional restrictions will be set in place. As of Sunday December, 6th, 2020, San Diego County as well as the rest of the Southern California region, reached that capacity and all outdoor dining will cease until further notice Also, all hair salons, barbershops and nail salons will close until further notice. Additionally, while our retail stores will continue to remain open, capacity will now be limited to 20%.

All restaurants at Del Mar Plaza will be offering takeout and delivery options for your continued enjoyment. Please contact them directly or visit their website to place orders and any updated menus.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely, and our collective businesses will be following the CDC’s recommended guidelines to keep both customers and employees safe. While our tenant’s each have their own specific requirements and sanitation practices (which are available on their individual websites and social media pages), Del Mar Plaza will be taking measures as well. These include:

  • – Providing sanitation stations throughout the property
  • – Modified outdoor gathering spaces to support social distancing measures
  • – Encouraging all our guests to wear masks, opt for contactless payment technologies whenever possible, and continue to practice social distancing while visiting with us
