Update, July 13th: On July 13th, Governor Newsom mandated that all salons close, effective July 14th. Our salon tenants will be closed until further notice.
On Monday, July 6th, San Diego County announced that indoor dine-in restaurants will need to close. Outdoor dining, pickup, delivery and drive thrus will still be allowed. The closures go into effect in San Diego July 7 and will last at least three weeks.
All restaurants at Del Mar Plaza offer outdoor seating which we encourage you to take advantage of during these times.
We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely, and our collective businesses will be following the CDC’s recommended guidelines to keep both customers and employees safe. While our tenant’s each have their own specific requirements and sanitation practices (which are available on their individual websites and social media pages), Del Mar Plaza Plaza will be taking measures as well. These include:
- – Increased cleaning and disinfecting measures, especially at high-trafficked areas
- – Providing and sanitation stations throughout the property
- – Modified outdoor gathering spaces to support social distancing measures
- – Encouraging all our guests to wear masks, opt for contactless payment technologies whenever possible, and continue to practice social distancing while visiting with us
Additionally, many of our shops and restaurants are still providing curbside pickup, virtual appointments, and online ordering. As of publication, Banana Republic, Garys Studio, Seabiscuit Del Mar and all of our restaurants are offering online ordering and pick up. Garys Studio and Jana Ann Couture are also scheduling virtual and private appointments.
