Del Mar Plaza Reopening Update – January 2021

Update, January 27th:

On January 25th, San Diego County was placed back into Tier 1, also known as the purple tier, of the State’s tier system due to a decrease in COVID cases in the Southern California region. Outdoor dining will be permitted effective January 25th, 2021 with social distancing guidelines in place. All restaurants will continue to offer takeout and delivery options for your continued enjoyment. Be sure to visit their website or contact them directly for updated hours and menus.

In addition, all hair salons, barbershops, and nail salons will be permitted to open with reduced capacity. Retail stores will continue to have a reduced capacity of 25%.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely, and our collective businesses will be following the CDC’s recommended guidelines to keep both customers and employees safe. While our tenant’s each have their own specific requirements and sanitation practices (which are available on their individual websites and social media pages), Del Mar Plaza will be taking measures as well. These include:

  • – Increased cleaning and disinfecting measures, especially at high-trafficked areas
  • – Providing sanitation stations throughout the property
  • – Modified outdoor gathering spaces to support social distancing measures
  • – Encouraging all our guests to wear masks, opt for contactless payment technologies whenever possible, and continue to practice social distancing while visiting with us

During this exciting time of inviting you back to Del Mar Plaza, we are committed to staying in constant communication. If you have specific questions not addressed here or on our website, please reach out to us by calling 858-847-2284 or sending us a message online.
